Else the bike's just been awesome. I know of people who've clocked 200-300.000 kilometers with the older T model. And similar sustained beating on previous models (1090/1190). Reading some of feedbacks here makes me wonder if the best simply is to hang onto "The Orange". It's a bid sad KTM doesn't take firm grips to improve on Quality & Service.

The KTM 1090 Adventure R has a lot in common with the 1290, so much of what Thies has written above applies to the 1090 as well. One difference is that it does have a little bit less power. But 125hp is still more than enough and while traveling and off-road the difference between the two bikes doesn't make itself felt.Just the best. The KTM 1090 ADVENTURE R stares down anything in its path. Its forgiving WP suspension, wire-spoked offroad wheels, and built-to-last 125hp fuel-efficient engine is set to take you further off the beaten track. This motorcycle is KTM's most offroad-capable ADVENTURE model and uses state-of-the-art technology. udaaI.
